Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Wash the liver, dry it, and remove the membrane and ducts.
- 2
Step 2

Cut into small pieces.
- 3
Step 3

Mix salt, ginger, and starch with 2 tablespoons of water and the same amount of vegetable oil. Stir until smooth.
- 4
Step 4

Pour this over the liver, mix and let it sit for 15-20 minutes.
- 5
Step 5

Meanwhile, prepare a sauce from tomato paste, honey, and soy sauce.
- 6
Step 6

Grind the garlic.
- 7
Step 7

Heat the oil well and, stirring, fry the liver over high heat for 2-3 minutes.
- 8
Step 8

Sprinkle with minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Pour in the sauce, mix well, and cook for another couple of minutes.
- 9
Step 9

Let the finished dish sit covered for 10-15 minutes, and in the meantime prepare a side dish—potatoes, rice, or stewed vegetables—just make sure the flavor is neutral enough :). Serve the oriental-style liver hot, sprinkled with finely chopped fresh herbs.
