
Turkey liver with sour cream

Keep in mind that turkey liver cooks quickly, so avoid overcooking it. Remember to add the flour in portions to prevent lumps from forming in the sour cream sauce.

Before slicing, turkey liver needs to be thoroughly rinsed under cold water. Then, cut the liver into small pieces using a sharp knife.

Peel the onion. Slice it into half-rings. Place onto a preheated frying pan greased with butter. Fry the onion until golden. To make it softer, add a pinch of salt.

In another skillet, sauté the turkey liver over medium heat. It's better to cook it in butter—it brings out a more pronounced aroma.

10 minutes after frying, add onion and sour cream to the pan with turkey liver. Pour in a glass of water, and simmer for another 25 minutes, covered.

To make the sour cream sauce thicker, add a little flour to it. Simmer the mixture for another 4 minutes over very low heat.

Add salt to taste. You can garnish the dish with any fresh herbs. Serve this liver with any side dish. Very delicious!
