Wash the apples and dry them. Remove the cores and cut the apples into medium-sized slices. To prevent the apples from browning, place them into acidulated water with lemon juice (1 teaspoon of lemon juice per 1 liter of water).

Peel the pumpkin, remove the seeds, and cut into medium-sized cubes.

Transfer the pumpkin and apples to a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Add water, bring to a boil, then simmer covered over low heat for 15–20 minutes until soft.

Then blend with a blender until smooth puree.

Add sugar to taste. Heat on the stove for another 1-2 minutes, until the sugar dissolves.

Evenly spread the puree onto a silicone or Teflon mat. The thickness should be no more than 5 mm. Dry in the oven with the door slightly open for 10–12 hours.

The finished marshmallow should easily peel off the mat and not stick to your hands. Let the marshmallow cool completely, then cut it into strips and roll into little rolls. Store the finished marshmallow in a tightly closed container.
