Pasta with cheese sauce
Description
Just imagine the taste of this dish! Tender pasta in a creamy "Béchamel" sauce with several types of cheese, topped with a delicious golden crust. For me, as a lover of pasta and cheese, this is pure heaven. For the sauce, I recommend using 1-2% low-fat milk, since the butter and cheese already contribute quite a bit of fat.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

You can use any pasta. I have these elbow macaroni.
- 2
Step 2

Boil them in salted water until al dente, so they are not soft, then drain in a colander.
- 3
Step 3

Melt a tablespoon of butter and mix it with the breadcrumbs; set aside for now.
- 4
Step 4

Grease a baking pan with butter and preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan, add flour, then stir. The mixture should turn golden.
- 5
Step 5

Then begin gradually pouring in the milk, constantly stirring the sauce. It should thicken slightly.
- 6
Step 6

Add the mixture of grated cheeses to the sauce, mix well until the cheese has melted. Add black pepper, nutmeg to taste, and a little salt.
- 7
Step 7

Place the pasta in a baking dish and pour the sauce over it. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
- 8
Step 8

Sprinkle with a little cheese and ground pepper on top.
- 9
Step 9

Bake the pasta for 15-20 minutes. Serve it hot.
