
Pasta with cherry tomatoes and shrimp
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Linguine with roasted tomatoes and shrimp—a pasta dish for seafood lovers. Serve hot.

1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add linguine pasta and cook until done. Drain the pasta in a colander and discard the water. Set aside.

2. Finely chop the red onion. While the pasta is cooking, heat 3 teaspoons of olive oil in a skillet over high heat. When the oil is hot, add the cherry tomatoes. Be careful, as the tomatoes will start to burst and splatter. Cook the tomatoes until they begin to crack.

3. Add salt, pepper, garlic, balsamic vinegar, and red onion to the skillet. Cook, stirring, until the onion is tender and the tomatoes are soft, about 10 minutes.

4. Add the shrimp to the pan. Fry until the shrimp turn pink.

5. Add the cooked linguine pasta and gently toss until the pasta is evenly coated with the sauce. Plate the pasta, sprinkle with fresh basil, and serve immediately. Instead of basil, you can use fresh green onions.
