
Pasta with chickpeas Neapolitan-style
Description
The dish turns out delicious and quick to prepare, and note that everything happens in just one pot. For such pasta, thrifty Italian housewives often use a mixture of leftover small dried pasta. You can use canned chickpeas or cook them yourself.

1. Pour olive oil into a saucepan, add the garlic clove, and sauté for 1 minute. When the garlic turns golden, add the strained chickpeas, add rosemary sprigs, and sauté over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.

2. Add 3 cups of water, season with salt, and simmer for 30 minutes over low heat, covered. Add more water if necessary. At this point, you can mash 2-3 tbsp of the chickpeas into a puree, which will speed up cooking and make the paste more flavorful.

3. Add the dry pasta to the same pot, bring to a boil, and cook according to the time indicated on the pasta packaging. Stir the pasta to prevent sticking, and if necessary, add more water.
