Pasta with shrimp and tomatoes
Description
Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package, while preparing the sauce. For the sauce, sauté garlic in oil in a skillet, then remove it. Add shrimp to the hot skillet and cook; once done, set them aside too. In the same skillet, sauté tomatoes with spices. Then combine all the ingredients, add pasta, mix well, and serve. Good luck with your cooking!
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Cook the pasta in a large amount of rapidly boiling salted water. The pasta should be cooked until al dente, meaning "to the tooth," so that it slightly sticks to the teeth.
- 2
Step 2

Peel the garlic, crush it with the side of a knife or cut it in half, and place it in a heated pan with a small amount of olive oil. Once it turns golden brown and releases its characteristic pleasant aroma, remove the garlic. We won't need it any longer.
- 3
Step 3

Immediately after that, add the cleaned and washed shrimp. Cook the shrimp in the pan until they turn reddish, then remove them to another dish; they will be needed later.
- 4
Step 4

In the same skillet, sauté canned tomatoes or fresh ones, cut into cubes and peeled beforehand. Add salt, black and red pepper, and fry everything for about five minutes.
- 5
Step 5

When the sauce thickens, you can add the pasta to it, but be sure to rinse it under cold water first.
- 6
Step 6

Mix the pasta with the sauce well, add the shrimp, and mix again.
- 7
Step 7

Finally, add chopped parsley; according to Italian tradition, you can also add basil and sprinkle with grated hard cheese. Buon appetito!
