
Pasta with smoked capelin
Description
The recipe won't take much time. The pasta with smoked capelin turns out spicy from the garlic, yet tender thanks to the wine. Give it a try! If you have little time to prepare lunch, make this pasta. Whenever I have smoked capelin in my kitchen, I always experiment with it. The result is a simple, straightforward, yet very delicious dish. Serve hot.

Put the pasta on to boil.

Finely chop the shallot, slice the garlic but do not crush it. Leave some cloves whole. Halve the cherry tomatoes.

First, sauté shallots and garlic in olive oil for about two minutes. Then add smoked smelt and fry together for another two minutes.

Add wine, sour cream, and lemon juice to the pan. Simmer over medium heat until most of the liquid has evaporated.

Then add the cooked pasta to the sauce. Mix well and simmer together for another minute. Sprinkle with grated cheese on top and serve.
