Pasta with potatoes and beans

Description

This recipe won't take much time. Peel and cut potatoes into 2.5 cm cubes. Place the potatoes in a large saucepan with salted water. Bring to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt and pasta or other short tubular pasta. Bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes. Cut beans in half. Add the beans. Bring to a boil and cook until the vegetables are tender and the pasta is done, about 6 minutes. Drain the pasta and potatoes in a colander and discard the water. Toss with 1/2 cup of pesto, season with salt and pepper. Serve warm or at room temperature. Serve hot.
