Pasta with peas and ham

Description

The recipe won't take much time. Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water according to the package instructions. Drain the water and return the pasta to the pot. Meanwhile, heat the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and cook, stirring, until soft, for 3 to 4 minutes. Add the peas and the mixture of olive oil and vinegar, season with salt and pepper. Simmer until the mixture thickens, for 3 to 4 minutes. Cut the ham into strips. Add the ham to the sauce and cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Mix the sauce with the pasta. Serve the pasta hot with grated Parmesan cheese.
