Pasta with broccoli in cheese sauce
Description
The recipe won't take much time. If you don't particularly like broccoli, especially raw, you can pre-roast or boil it. Alternatively, you can replace it altogether, for example, with cauliflower or even tomatoes. However, it's better to choose a vegetable with a contrasting color to make the dish look more appealing. Serve hot.

Step 1

Bring water to a boil, add salt, then add the pasta and cook until al dente (about one minute less than done).

Step 2

In a separate saucepan, melt the butter, then gradually add the flour and stir vigorously. The goal is to obtain a smooth, lump-free mixture.

Step 3

Then pour milk into the future sauce and mix, cook until it thickens slightly.

Step 4

While the sauce is cooking, grate the cheese. Then add the cheese to the sauce and mix. The cheese should melt.

Step 5

Cut the broccoli into small pieces. Drain the water from the pasta. Add the pasta and broccoli to the sauce, season with pepper to taste, and mix well.
