1. Before preparing "Carbonara" pasta with cream, slice the smoked bacon into thin strips.

2. Peel the garlic and finely chop it. Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites. Whisk the yolks with the cream using a fork. Take a frying pan, heat it thoroughly. Pour in olive oil and heat it up. Add garlic and smoked meat, sauté for 3–4 minutes, stirring constantly. Put the spaghetti to cook in salted water. Combine the bacon with the cream and egg yolks, add the cheese. Mix thoroughly in a separate bowl. Pour the mixture back into the frying pan, heat for just a couple of minutes until the sauce thickens.

3. Remove the slightly undercooked spaghetti from the heat, let them sit in the water for a while until they reach the desired doneness. Drain the water, transfer the spaghetti to a frying pan and mix. Take a two-pronged fork and a knife to arrange the spaghetti onto a plate. Place the cooled meat on top and sprinkle with freshly ground pepper.
