1. Finely chop the onion and garlic, and in the meantime cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package.

2. Heat two types of oil in a frying pan. Then sauté the onion and garlic for 2 minutes.

3. Add vodka to the sautéed vegetables and simmer for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Then add tomato paste to the sauce and mix well.

4. Reduce the heat, add the cream, salt, and pepper to taste. Continue cooking over low heat, stirring constantly. Be careful not to overheat the cream and prevent it from curdling.

5. Meanwhile, drain the cooked pasta, reserving one cup of the cooking water. Add the pasta to the sauce and mix well. If the sauce is too thick, thin it with some of the reserved pasta water as needed.

6. Before serving, sprinkle the pasta with grated cheese.
