Pâté with Smoked Mackerel
Description
Perfect for the table and with drinks. A simple and quick way to make an original appetizer. Goes well with toast and crispbread, and also spread on cucumber rounds or crackers. Can be served warm or chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Remove the processed cheese from the packaging. Cut into pieces and place in the blender bowl.
- 2
Step 2

Peel the hard-boiled eggs. Cut into pieces as desired and add to the blender.
- 3
Step 3

Add two tablespoons of sour cream to improve the moisture of the mixture and beat until smooth.
- 4
Step 4

Clean the mackerel, remove the bones and skin. Cut the flesh and add to the blender. Blend again.
- 5
Step 5

If the mackerel is too salty, add more sour cream to the mixture — it will reduce the saltiness. Transfer the pâté to a serving dish and serve with toast, crackers, or simply on bread.
