Dukan Pâté
Description
A delicious appetizer for any gathering. The pâté can be served with any vegetable salad or with chicken broth for lunch. It takes just minutes to prepare, but don't make it ahead of time, as dairy products keep for no more than 1–2 days, and yogurt has been added to the pâté.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. Rinse the chicken livers in water and remove the membranes. Hard-boil the chicken eggs ahead of time for 15 minutes and let cool.
- 2
Step 2

Place the liver in a saucepan or pot, cover with hot water, and simmer for 12 minutes, then cool in cold water. Do not cook the liver too long, or it will become bitter and tough.
- 3
Step 3

Cut the cooled liver into pieces and place them in the blender bowl. Peel the boiled chicken eggs, rinse them, and cut them into pieces, adding them to the liver.
- 4
Step 4

Season with salt and pepper, add classic yogurt of any fat content or sour cream, but not mayonnaise.
- 5
Step 5

Puree everything until smooth. If needed, add a little more yogurt, but don't overdo it so the pâté doesn't turn out too thin. Keep in mind that it will thicken slightly after chilling.
- 6
Step 6

Place the prepared dish in a ramekin or a small bowl and chill in the refrigerator for about 30–40 minutes. Then serve.
