
Offal Pâté
Description
This recipe won't take much time. Chicken liver and chicken hearts make a very tender and tasty pâté. It's quick and simple to prepare. Serve it for breakfast, lunch, or dinner as an appetizer. This pâté can also be used as a filling for pies and pastries. It can be served warm or chilled.

Prepare the ingredients for making pâté.

Rinse the chicken liver, remove the veins, and place it in a pot. Cover with water, bring to a boil, and cook for 10–12 minutes. Then drain the water.

Rinse the hearts, trim off the vessels and fat. Place in a saucepan, cover with water, bring to a boil, and cook for 10 minutes.

Peel the onions and carrots, wash them, and chop them as you like. Place them in a frying pan.

Add sunflower oil and a little water. Cover the skillet with a lid and braise the onion and carrots until tender.

Pass the boiled chicken liver and hearts through a meat grinder.

Also mince the stewed onions with carrots in a meat grinder.

Add softened butter to the liver, hearts, onion, and carrots.

Blend all pâté ingredients in a blender until creamy.
