
Turkey Liver Pâté
Description
Suitable both for holidays and everyday meals. The base of homemade pâté can be any liver. In this case, it's turkey liver, as it is more diet-friendly and contains less cholesterol. The liver can be either boiled or pan-fried — to your taste — and the same goes for the vegetables. The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.

1. I often make homemade pâtés at home—they’re tasty, healthy, and work well for a holiday table or as an appetizer and snack. This time I decided to use turkey liver and didn’t regret it—it cooks quickly and has a very delicate flavor.

2. Fry it in vegetable oil. If you want a lighter dish with less fat, simply boil the liver instead.

3. While the liver is cooling or cooking, sauté the onion in vegetable oil.

4. And the carrots (until fully cooked). Then place the vegetables in the blender bowl and add the liver to it as well.

5. Also add butter to the mixture, then salt and season to taste. It's best not to add anything else to the pâté so you don't overpower the flavor. Process until smooth and homogeneous.

6. Now all that remains is to transfer the pâté into a mold and place it in the refrigerator for some time.

7. This homemade turkey liver pâté pairs wonderfully with pickled and fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, and even sauerkraut.
