Sprat Pâté
Description
The recipe won't take much time. This pâté can even be made for a buffet. You can add cheese, parsley, and even butter to the mixture—to taste. Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Serve with greens and sauce.

Step 1

1. A very unusual recipe — homemade sprat pâté. This appetizer won’t be too salty if you add more bread to the mixture. It’s even better to use a white loaf.
- 2
Step 2

2. Take lightly salted sprats and separate them into fillets, removing the head and any extra bones.
- 3
Step 3

3. Now put the bread in the blender and process it at maximum speed. The recipe calls for two slices of bread, but I usually use 5-6.
- 4
Step 4

4. Add the mayonnaise and continue whisking. Halfway through, add the sprats and keep whisking.
- 5
Step 5

5. You can add cheese to taste. If you're worried the pâté might turn out too salty, you can use cheese with holes — it has a slightly sweet flavor. Whisk everything together until the mixture is smooth and uniform.

Step 6

6. And at the very end, add the parsley and cook the mixture until done.

Step 7

7. That's it—the pâté is ready! It takes no more than half an hour to prepare.
