
Turkey Pâté Baked in the Oven
Description
The recipe won't take much time. For the sauce, I chose homemade mayonnaise and added a little minced garlic and 1 tbsp. lemon juice. You can also add sour cream to taste in a 1:1 ratio. Prepare the necessary ingredients. Rinse the fillet under cold water and pat dry. Wash the carrot, peel it, and boil in boiling water for 10 minutes. Green peas—for 2–3 minutes.

Cut the fillet into medium pieces and grind to a purée-like consistency using a meat grinder or food processor. Combine with cream, green peas, salt, pepper, and chopped herbs; mix thoroughly.

Line a rectangular baking dish (capacity – 1.5 L) with parchment paper. Roll out the dough into a thin sheet and place it in the dish.

Layer the minced meat filling, alternating with carrots.

Cover the top with dough, carefully pinch the edges, and brush the top with a mixture of egg yolk and 1 tbsp water. Bake in an oven preheated to 200°C for 1 hour.

Let the turkey pâté cool slightly in the mold, then slice it into not-too-thin pieces and serve.
