Diet Beef Liver Pâté

Description

Liver pâté is a very tasty and versatile dish. Pâté works well both for making various sandwiches and for stuffing different foods. You can use pâté on ordinary days and for festive-table dishes. Let’s not be lazy and make a tasty, light, diet-friendly beef liver pâté. It takes little effort, and the result will be excellent.

    Thoroughly rinse the liver and remove the outer membrane.

    Cut it into small pieces, removing the sinews as you slice.

    Soak the liver in milk for a couple of hours.

    Place the liver pieces in a saucepan. Cover them with water so it just barely covers the liver. Put on the stove and bring to a boil. As soon as it boils, skim off the foam and add salt and all the other spices. Simmer over low heat for 20 minutes from the moment it comes to a boil.

    Peel the onion and carrots. Grate the carrots on a coarse or medium grater; dice the onion into small cubes. Heat a skillet with olive oil and, over low heat, sauté the onion and carrots until softened.

    To make the pâté tender and smooth, pass the cooked liver through a meat grinder. Do not pour out the broth; you may need it.

    Place the minced liver, onion, and carrot, along with peeled avocado, into the blender bowl and blend until smooth.

    Taste the pâté and add salt if needed. If you think the pâté isn’t tender enough, add a little broth and blend again.
