Easter kulich delicious
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Here is a recipe for making delicious and appetizing Easter kulich. You can bake one large kulich or, as I did, many small ones—to share and gift to all your relatives and loved ones, according to tradition. As far as I know, our ancestors were supposed to bake 12 kuliches, exchanging eleven of them with relatives, neighbors, and friends. These kuliches are definitely worth sharing. The baked goods are ready. Serve them at the table.

Step 1

1. First, make the starter - mix the yeast, 4 tablespoons of flour, and add 120 ml of warm water. Stir until you get a thick mixture. Let it sit for half an hour in a warm place.

Step 2

2. Now it's time to make the dough. Crack the eggs into a large bowl, add salt, and beat everything together with a fork. Then add softened margarine and all the dry ingredients—flour, sugar, vanilla, and saffron. Mix thoroughly, add the prepared starter, and mix again.

Step 3

3. Then cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 24 hours, or at least five to six hours. After that, take it out and place it in a warm spot—for example, near a preheated oven—so that it rises like this within 2 hours. Now add the raisins and knead the dough for a full 40–50 minutes, until it starts to "squeak" under your fingers.

4. Place the dough into the molds, filling each one only one-third full. Cover with a towel and let it rise for half an hour at 30 degrees in the oven. Then bake at maximum temperature for 10 minutes, followed by baking at medium heat until done (test with a dry matchstick), approximately 15–20 minutes.

4. While the kulich is baking, try not to make noise, avoid drafts, don't stomp your feet, and don't look into the oven during the first 15 minutes—any of these may cause the dough to collapse. Afterwards, take them out and let them cool completely in the molds before removing and decorating!
