Easter Kulich in a Multicooker
Description
The baking is simple and quick. I'd like to point out right away that you can increase the amount of ingredients if your bowl capacity allows. 1. First, dissolve the yeast in warm milk. Stir and set aside for 5–7 minutes. 2. Meanwhile, beat eggs with sugar in a deep bowl. 3. Cut softened butter into small cubes and add to the eggs. 4. Add the yeast mixture from the milk, and mix thoroughly. The mixture may not be completely uniform due to the butter, but don't worry about that. Leave the resulting mixture in a warm place overnight. 5. In the morning, gently stir once again and add vanilla (if desired, for extra aroma in the Easter kulich recipe prepared in a "Redmond" multicooker, you can add citrus zest). 6. Wash the raisins, dry them, and roll in a small amount of flour. 7. Add sifted flour to the dough and knead until smooth. 8. Add the raisins. 9. Transfer to a work surface and continue kneading for at least half an hour to achieve a light, airy dough. 10. Place the dough into a pot previously greased with vegetable oil, cover with a clean towel, and let rise for about 1.5 hours. 11. Grease the multicooker bowl well and transfer the dough into it. 12. Turn on the "Keep Warm" mode for 20–25 minutes. If the yeast isn't very active, it might take a bit longer. 13. Then switch to the "Baking" mode and cook the Easter kulich in the "Redmond" multicooker at home for approximately 80 minutes. 14. Carefully remove the finished kulich from the bowl and cool it on a wire rack. 15. For the glaze, use 1 egg white, a spoonful of lemon juice, and powdered sugar. Beat until smooth and spread over the cooled kulich. Sprinkle the top with decorative sprinkles or chopped candied fruits, for example. Now you know how to make it. Serve with tea or coffee.
