Thanks to the spices, the dough turns out incredibly aromatic, and you can endlessly experiment with add-ins. Try it—you'll fall head over heels for it too. The baking is ready. Serve at the table.

1. First, of course, you need to start with the sponge. Slightly warm the milk with cream. Add a little sugar and sprinkle in the yeast. Mix, sift in about half of the flour. Knead the dough, cover with a clean towel, and let the sponge rise in a warm place.

2. Meanwhile, you can prepare the add-ins. Chop the nuts and cut the dried fruits. Raisins can be soaked in hot water and then dried.

3. Place the spices in a mortar and grind them. The Easter kulich should be incredibly aromatic when made at home. Then crack 1 egg and 3 yolks into a small bowl. Mix well.

4. Add the melted butter to the sponge, then add the eggs with spices, sugar, and salt. Mix until smooth, then gradually add the remaining flour.

5. Now comes a very important step: knead the dough by hand. Do this for at least half an hour to make the dough airy.
