Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients according to the list. The add-ins can be anything—today I used candied fruit, but you can use any dried fruit.
- 2
Step 2

Whisk the eggs in a deep bowl.
- 3
Step 3

Add the warm cream, melted butter, sour cream, sugar, salt, and vanilla sugar. Stir to combine.
- 4
Step 4

Separately combine 700 g flour with dry yeast. Mix and add to the dough in portions. If necessary, add another 100 g flour.
- 5
Step 5

The dough should be thick, sticky, and viscous; it is best to knead it by hand while wearing gloves.
- 6
Step 6

Add the candied peel and fold it into the dough. If you are adding dried fruit, it must be thoroughly dried.
- 7
Step 7

Grease your hands with vegetable oil and transfer the dough to a deeper bowl. I transfer it to the multicooker inner pot and leave it on Keep Warm at 35 degrees for 2 hours.
- 8
Step 8

You can simply cover the bowl with a towel and leave it in a warm, draft-free place until it has doubled in volume.
- 9
Step 9

Rub your hands with vegetable oil and divide the risen dough among the molds, filling them one-third of the way. Cover with a towel and let stand for 30 minutes, then bake in an oven preheated to 180°C until done. If the top starts to burn, cover with foil. I do not give a baking time, because it will depend on both your oven and the size of the kulich. Smaller ones bake faster. Check doneness with a wooden skewer, but do not overbake.
- 10
Step 10

Cool the finished kulich completely, and only then glaze them.
- 11
Step 11

Easter kulichi made with cream and dry yeast are ready.
- 12
Step 12

The baked goods are ready. Serve with tea.
