Description
Delicious baked goods for the whole family. Easter cakes and dyed eggs remain timeless holiday staples, but fragrant homemade rabbit‑shaped bread will be the highlight on your table, especially when served on a tray with vegetables. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions

Step 1

Mix water, flour, egg, melted butter, salt, sugar, and yeast to make a regular bread dough. Let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.

Step 2

Divide the dough in half. Place the rabbit directly on a baking sheet. From the first part, shape a head using a quarter of the dough. The remaining three quarters of the piece will go for the rabbit's body. Distribute the second part of the dough as follows: cut it into 4 equal pieces. Twist two of them into ropes, fold them in half and pinch them to the head – they become the ears. Cut the third piece in half and shape the hind legs. Cut the fourth piece into three equal parts. Two of them are the front legs. Use the remaining third for the rabbit's cheeks and nose.

Step 3

Now just cut the whiskers and the fingers on the paws with a sharp knife. Then decorate the eyes with raisins, the teeth with almonds, brush the bread with egg, and send it to the oven at 180–200 °C for 35–40 minutes. Done! Transfer the bread rabbit onto a beautiful dish, surround it with herbs and vegetables, and place a lettuce leaf with any thick sauce on its belly.
