Easter Eggs with Flowers

The appetizer is prepared quickly and simply. Today I want to tell you how to make Easter eggs with flowers. The "Decoupage" technique, so popular among craftswomen, will help us with this. Yes, yes, Easter eggs decorated with various napkin patterns turn out not only beautiful but also healthy, since you don't use any chemical dyes. With Easter eggs we won't use the usual acrylic sealers, varnishes, and other chemicals. After all, we will definitely eat the eggs, so they must be as harmless as possible. Therefore, we will use ordinary egg white as glue and sealer for the decoration. Thin pieces of napkin will stick to it simply perfectly, and in 5-10 minutes the egg white will dry and won't be visible. Everything will look very natural and festive. Moreover, just look at how original the eggs decorated with flowers from napkins turn out. At the same time, you can glue other patterns onto the eggs—it all depends on which napkins you buy. Well then, let's get started and create beauty. The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.

Step 1
Boil the eggs hard in advance. Note: it is easier to work with hot eggs—the egg white dries on them faster. But if the eggs have already cooled, that is fine; you will just need to wait longer for the white to dry. I recommend using white-shelled eggs—they will look nicer.

I use napkins with small and large roses, with daisies, and with Easter birds. You can use any napkins. They usually have 2 or 3 layers, the top one of which has the design. That is exactly the layer we need. Carefully separate it. With small scissors, cut out the elements you need. Do not try to cut out only the design itself; calmly include the white napkin around it too — on white eggs it will not be visible.

Using a brush, coat the first egg with egg white—this is the base, the ground layer. Now apply pieces of napkins and dab them with a brush well moistened in egg white. As I mentioned before, it's better to use warm eggs; then the white will dry almost instantly, and the patterns will adhere quickly. Decorate all the eggs this way.

I ended up with 7 nicely and charmingly decorated eggs.
