Description

The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. The sweet Finnish Easter dessert turns out to taste similar to "Plombir" ice cream, thanks to the added cream. This treat is hard to resist not only for children but for adults as well. You can optionally add soaked dried fruits or berries, such as dried cherries or cranberries. The ready dessert can be served at the table.

Then mix the thick cream into the mixture. It is very important that the mixture is not hot, otherwise the cream will melt and turn into fat.

Line the Easter mold with a double layer of cheesecloth or a thin linen towel. Place the curd mixture into the mold and press it down lightly, folding the hanging edges of the fabric over the top. Refrigerate the Easter cheese for at least 2 hours in this form.

After the specified time, unfold the edges of the cloth, cover the mold with a plate, and turn it upside down. The paskha will come out onto the plate. Remove the cheesecloth and decorate the dessert to your liking, for example with almond flakes or sprinkles. Serve chilled.
