Description
Suitable for both holidays and everyday meals. Pantumaca (or tomato bread) is a typical Spanish tapas dish (any light appetizer, canapé, etc.) popular throughout Spain, but especially in Catalonia. They say peasants invented it to soften yesterday’s stale bread. And pantumaca is easy to make. Just take white bread dried in the oven, rub it with garlic and ripe tomato flesh, and add a few drops of olive oil.
