
Panna cotta with cherries
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. I recommend always making panna cotta a day in advance and keeping it in the refrigerator so the dessert can achieve its proper consistency. The finished dessert can then be served.

1. Place the sheets of gelatin in cold water for the time indicated on the package. Pour milk into a saucepan.

2. Add the cream and sugar, bring to a boil, then remove the saucepan from the heat.

3. Squeeze the gelatin sheets, add them to the milk mixture and stir.

4. The gelatin must completely dissolve in the hot milk mixture. Pour the resulting mixture into individual dessert cups.

5. Refrigerate the dessert for at least 4 hours before serving.

6. Remove the cherries from their stems, wash them, remove the pits, cut them in half, and place them in a saucepan.

7. Add lemon juice and powdered sugar.

8. Place the saucepan over medium heat and warm for 2–3 minutes, until the cherries soften. Remove the saucepan from the heat, let the cherries cool, then place in the refrigerator.

9. Pour the cooled syrup from cherries over the ready and cooled panna cotta and serve.
