
Sourdough pancakes

Prepare the ingredients for making pancake batter. Take the sourdough starter out of the refrigerator in advance. Warm the milk slightly in the microwave for 1 minute.

In a bowl, combine the sugar, warm milk, and starter; whisk the mixture.

Add the eggs to the liquid ingredients and pour in the vegetable oil. Whisk the mixture until combined.

Combine the flour with the salt and baking powder, and sift through a sieve. Combine the liquid ingredients with the flour mixture and mix. Cover the bowl of dough with plastic wrap and leave in a warm place for 1–1.5 hours.

Heat a frying pan (without oil!), turn the heat down, and pour in a spoonful of batter. How much batter you use depends on how big you want the pancakes. In the dry pan, cook the pancakes on both sides until golden.

Serve the pancakes with any topping: jam, sour cream, honey, syrup, chocolate, condensed milk.
