Kefir pancakes with apples
Description
Baking is easy and quick to make. If you don’t care for thin crepes and adore thick, hearty pancakes, this recipe is for you. Make them with apple added—the kids will happily eat such a dessert for breakfast or afternoon snack, especially with sweet syrup.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Heat kefir of any fat content in the microwave or over a water bath, but do not bring to a boil. Add salt and sugar and crack in a chicken egg. Beat for 1 minute.
- 3
Step 3

Add the wheat flour and fold it in with smooth, gentle motions, taking care not to beat.
- 4
Step 4

Pour in the vegetable oil and stir it in. Prefer a neutral vegetable oil without a strong flavor.
- 5
Step 5

If the apple is large, cut it in half. Remove the cores and seeds, rinse, then grate on a fine grater directly into the dough. Mix the contents of the bowl.
- 6
Step 6

Heat the skillet and grease it with oil the first time. Pour 2 tbsp of batter onto the bottom of the skillet and reduce the heat to medium. Cook until bubbles burst on the surface of the pancake.
- 7
Step 7

Then use a silicone spatula to flip it over and bake for another 1 minute until golden. Transfer to a plate. In this way, bake all the pancakes, making sure they do not burn.
- 8
Step 8

Place them on a plate and serve hot at the table with syrup, jam, and so on.
