
Oven garlic pampushki
Description
The baked goods come together easily and quickly. Oven-baked garlic pampushky are not only a match for borscht but also a bread alternative alongside any hot meal. Light, airy dough is incredibly simple and uses the most ordinary ingredients. The pampushky turn out fluffy, wonderfully fragrant, with a golden crust and a very tender porous crumb. Prepare all the ingredients.

Combine the warm kefir, sugar, and yeast. Mix and let stand for 10 minutes.

Add salt, vegetable oil and one egg. Beat the second egg lightly and pour half into the bowl (brush the pampushki with the remaining half later).

Mix everything again and add the flour in portions.

As soon as the dough has absorbed all the flour and starts sticking to your hands, gather it into a ball, cover it with a towel, and leave it in a warm place for 1.5 hours.

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 6–12 pieces (depending how large you want the pampushky).

Give each piece a round shape and place them in a greased tin, spaced well apart.

Cover the pan with a towel or plastic wrap and let the dough rise for 40 minutes. Then brush the pampushki with the remaining half of the egg.

Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes.

For the sauce, combine water, oil, crushed garlic, salt, and chopped dill. Mix, then take the pampushki out of the oven and immediately coat them with the garlic sauce.
