
Puff pastry sticks with cheese
Description
Eat the sticks warm or cooled. You can dip them in sauce or serve them as part of a bread basket. Instead of cheese, you can bake them with dried or fresh herbs, garlic, and various spices. Roll the sticks into spirals or leave them as is. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

1. Thaw the puff pastry: leave it at room temperature or place it in the microwave. Place the pastry on a floured surface and cut it into narrow strips.

2. Using a brush, moisten each strip with water, sprinkle with grated cheese and garlic powder. Holding one end, twist each strip of dough. Place all the strips onto a baking sheet.

3. Bake the puff pastry sticks in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 8-10 minutes, until they acquire a golden crust.
