Description
A delicious appetizer for any gathering. You can use your favorite spices and seasonings; ground garlic, smoked paprika, and hot pepper work great. Serve the appetizer at the table.

Prepare the ingredients.

Mix the breadcrumbs, cheese, and herbs in a bowl. Beat the egg with a fork in a separate bowl.

Cut the eggplant into medium-sized strips.

Dip each strip in the egg.

Coat in breadcrumbs.

Place in an ovenproof dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C under the broiler for about 7 minutes, then flip and cook for another 7 minutes. The sticks should become crispy.
