
Crimean baklava
Description
This treat is sure to surprise and delight your entire family. The dough for baklava turns out firm, elastic after kneading, and doesn't stick to your hands. If you don't have nuts at home, you can sprinkle the baklava with sesame seeds. Baklava will become a beautiful addition to any table and pairs perfectly with tea.

In a bowl, mix the flour and baking powder.

In a separate bowl, combine warm milk, sour cream, butter, and salt, gradually adding flour while constantly mixing with a mixer.

Cover the finished dough and let it rest for 20 minutes.

Divide the dough into 4 parts and roll into balls, let rest for 5–7 minutes. Then roll out the dough into a thin layer and let it dry slightly.

Then roll the dough into a flat roll.

Cut the resulting roll into strips and spread each piece into a diamond shape.

In a saucepan or skillet, heat the oil and fry the baklava until golden brown.

For the syrup, mix water and sugar in a saucepan. Place over medium heat and cook until the sugar dissolves, then boil the syrup for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, add honey and stir. Dip the baklava into the hot syrup, coating both sides, place on a plate and sprinkle with nuts.
