
Beef Pastrami
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Beef pastrami is a true meat delicacy. It originates from Romania and Moldova, but it is sometimes attributed to Jewish cuisine. Serve this dish chilled. Slice it into thin slices and enjoy a simple yet refined homemade appetizer. It can be served warm or chilled.

In a small bowl, mix together salt, sugar, black pepper, and garlic.

Wash and pat dry the beef. Rub it with spices, then cover the meat tightly and refrigerate for 24 hours.

Take the meat out of the refrigerator and remove any spices that did not have time to absorb. Now rub it with a mixture of green pepper, red pepper, and thyme, and wrap it in baking foil.

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Bake the beef for 30 minutes. Then turn off the oven, but do not open it for another 3 hours. Remove the meat and, without unwrapping the foil, let it cool to room temperature. Then refrigerate for 6 hours.
