Description

When making the dough, pay attention to its consistency. It should be thick, sticky, and not runny. Eggs vary in size, and that affects the dough consistency—adjust with flour. When placing the dough in the molds, press the bottom firmly. These oat-cookie–flavored little baskets make a lovely dessert. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

    Prepare the necessary ingredients.

    Grind the rolled oats.

    Add the flour, baking powder, sugar, and vanillin to the oats. Stir to combine.

    Add egg, egg white.

    Mix thoroughly. The mixture should be thick and not runny. If the dough is too thin, add more flour.

    Take tartlet molds. Grease generously with butter. Place ½–1 tbsp dough in each mold. Spread it over the mold with your fingers. Dip your hands in water—it makes spreading the dough easier. Make the bottoms of the baskets as thin as possible. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for 15–20 minutes.

    Cool the finished tart shells.

    Fill the chilled tart shells with cream. You can use any cream you prefer. I used cottage cheese filling. It pairs well with the oat base.
