Oat buns
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. You can also make the rolls sweet by adding a little sugar to the dough. I serve these rolls for breakfast, split in half and spread with butter, and you can also serve them with soup or salad. Versatile, tasty, and very soft rolls! I recommend making them — it’s simple and quick. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients. I use ready-made oat flour; if you don’t have any, you can grind rolled oats in a coffee grinder or blender.
- 2
Step 2

Crack a chicken egg into a suitable bowl and add salt. Mix well.
- 3
Step 3

Warm the kefir until lukewarm, pour it over the egg, and mix well.
- 4
Step 4

Pour in the vegetable oil and stir.
- 5
Step 5

Add the oat flour and baking powder.
- 6
Step 6

Knead a soft, elastic dough. The dough must stay soft—don’t overload it with flour, or the buns will turn out hard. If the dough sticks to your hands while kneading, grease your hands with vegetable oil and knead until the dough is smooth.
- 7
Step 7

Grease the baking pan with vegetable oil. Form 6–8 balls from the dough and place them in the pan, spaced a little apart from one another.
- 8
Step 8

If you like, sprinkle sesame seeds over the prepared pieces. Bake in a preheated oven at 180–190°C for 20–25 minutes.
- 9
Step 9

After a while, take the finished buns out and let them cool. Then serve with whatever you like.
