Oatmeal cookies with nuts and colorful candy coating
Description
You can buy colorful candy-coated chocolates in any baking supply store; they may have nuts, chocolate, or raisins in the center. In my case, I'm using regular M&M's peanuts. This cookie recipe absolutely delights children, as they look original and interesting. Besides the colorful candy-coated chocolates, I also add a mix of chopped nuts. 1. Place butter into a bowl, add granulated sugar, and beat everything together with a mixer. 2. Separate egg yolks from egg whites, put the whites into the refrigerator, and add the yolks to the butter mixture. Grind oat flakes into flour and gradually add them to the dough (150–200 grams). 3. Pulse the nut mix in a blender until coarsely chopped. Beat the egg whites until fluffy. Roll the dough into small balls, dip each one first into the beaten egg whites, then into the chopped nuts. 4. Place the cookies onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Press your thumb into the center of each to make an indentation. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) for 10–15 minutes. 5. Remove the hot cookies from the oven, let them cool slightly, then fill the center of each with chocolate spread and colorful candy-coated chocolates. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
