Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. The presence of white chocolate adds a new twist to the familiar oatmeal cookies. Use high-quality white chocolate, not chocolate chips. The finished dessert can be served at the table.

Step 1

1. Chop the white chocolate. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Using a mixer, beat butter and sugar in a bowl at medium speed. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula, then add the egg and vanilla extract, and beat again. Gradually add the flour mixture until a smooth consistency is achieved. Gradually mix in the oats and white chocolate and stir well.
