Oat cookies with vegetable oil
Description
Delicious baked treat for the whole family. This cookie cannot be called dietetic, considering the amount of sugar it contains. However, it does have some nutritional benefits thanks to the cottage cheese and oat flakes. This treat can be served to children for breakfast or afternoon snack. If you sprinkle a little cocoa powder on the cookies before baking, they will turn brown and resemble store-bought ones. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Step 1

Here I'll explain how to make oat cookies using vegetable oil with a soft texture. This tenderness comes from grinding the oat flakes. The easiest way to do this is with a coffee grinder. You should end up with oat flour.

Step 2

For the dough, mash the cottage cheese with a fork, then add egg and vegetable oil. Next, add sugar, oat flour, baking powder, and vanilla sugar. Optionally, add a teaspoon of cocoa. Mix everything well.

Step 3

Gradually add wheat flour to the dough. Make sure it doesn't become crumbly; it should remain elastic. Roll out the dough into a layer half a centimeter thick. Cut out cookies using a cookie cutter or a round glass.

Step 4

We will bake the cookies on parchment paper. Place them on a baking sheet and brush with egg. You can sprinkle the tops with brown sugar. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, then place the baking sheet inside for 15 minutes. Let the cookies cool before serving.
