
Oatmeal cookies made from oat flakes

Heat the skillet. Pour in the oatmeal. Fry, stirring, over high heat for 2 minutes. Then add 30 grams of butter, reduce the heat, and fry for another 5-7 minutes.

Now separate the egg whites from the yolks. Set the whites aside for now. Add sugar and cinnamon to the yolks. Add 50 grams of butter. Thoroughly mix all ingredients until smooth.

Let's move on to the egg whites. In a dry container, beat them with a mixer or blender at high speed until thickened. Then, mix the cooled oatmeal with the egg and oil mixture. Add flour and stir. Incorporate the beaten egg whites. Gently fold in to achieve a uniform consistency.

Grease a baking tray with any fat. Preheat the oven. Place spoonfuls of the dough onto the tray, shaping them into flattened rounds. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.

If you want the cookies to be more crisp, you can increase their baking time. Remove the baked oat cookies and cover them with a towel. Serve with tea or milk.
