Instructions

Step 1

1. This recipe is somewhat unusual, as vegetable pâté is usually made at home from several ingredients. In our case, we will slightly depart from the classic approach and prepare a very delicious vegetable pâté that even children love.

Step 2

2. To prepare the pâté faster, boil all the necessary vegetables in advance and let them cool. I usually do this in the evening and start cooking in the morning. Dice and sauté the mushrooms with onion, then add the chopped vegetables, eggs, salt, and seasonings. Beat everything thoroughly.

Step 3

3. Once the eggs have been added, beat the mixture for about 5 minutes at full speed, and only then transfer it to the baking dish.

Step 4

4. I usually use a pan made from heavy-duty foil—it’s convenient, and food doesn’t stick or burn in it. Bake for about 20 minutes at 180°C. I add celery root, fresh herbs, and cooked soybeans to the mixture. That part is up to your taste, but I guarantee even a discerning gourmet will enjoy it.

Step 5

5. Take out our pâté, which has browned nicely and looks like a casserole.

Step 6

6. You’ll have a beautiful result. Now you can slice the pâté and enjoy it with crispbread.
