Description

The recipe won't take much time. I suggest making vegetable cutlets—a quick and simple dish to prepare. In this recipe, the cutlets are pan-fried in oil, but for those strictly fasting, they can be baked in the oven. Either way, the cutlets turn out very tender and delicious—be sure to try them! They can be served as a side dish or as a main course with fresh vegetables or a sour cream sauce. These cutlets are delicious both warm and cold. Serve hot.

    Prepare all the ingredients. Boil the potatoes in their skins in advance and let them cool. Also boil the carrots whole and let them cool. Peel the onion.

    Dice the onion, sauté until cooked, and transfer to a deep bowl.

    Grate the carrot on a coarse grater and add it to the onion.

    Divide the mixture into 10 portions. Shape each portion into a patty and place 1–2 tsp of corn (with excess liquid drained) in the center. Form the patties into any desired shape and coat them in flour.
