Vegetables in teriyaki sauce
Description
This recipe won't take much time. Here's a simple recipe for vegetables in teriyaki sauce just for you! I first tried the sweet and spicy teriyaki sauce at an Asian restaurant and instantly fell in love with it. That's why I learned to make something similar, and now I happily use it with meat, vegetables, and chicken. It immediately gives any dish an Eastern flair! So I highly recommend you give it a try. Serve hot.

Step 1

1. Wash and peel all the vegetables. Slice the zucchini into thin rounds, and cut the other vegetables into whatever size you prefer, since we'll be threading them onto skewers. Season the vegetables with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 2

2. Next, thread them onto skewers and bake in the oven at 200 degrees. I have a grill function, so I bake them that way.

Step 3

3. The vegetables should be turned occasionally during cooking to ensure even roasting. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, combine water, soy sauce, mustard, honey, sugar, ginger, and garlic. Make sure all the sugar granules dissolve and the sauce begins to thicken slightly. Once it comes to a boil, remove from heat.

4. When the vegetables are roasted on all sides, transfer them to a serving dish and pour the sauce over! Ready!
