Boiled hake
Description
Actually, to prepare this fish, you only need fillet, salt, and pepper. All the other ingredients are meant to create a "complete" dinner. Potatoes are for the side dish. And 2/3 of the bay leaves, garlic, oil, and red pepper are for an aromatic sauce for the fish. Well, now I'll explain in more detail.
Instructions

Step 1

Place the potatoes to boil until cooked. Pour oil into a small saucepan (it should be about 0.5–1 cm deep). Turn on the stove. Add bay leaves (2 pieces) and garlic, sliced into rounds, to the oil. Sauté over low heat until the garlic is lightly browned.

Step 2

Remove the saucepan from the heat. Add ground red pepper. Stir, then strain into a small container using a sieve.

Step 3

Fill the steaming container with water and add the remaining bay leaf. Season the hake fillet with salt and pepper. Place it into the steaming container. Cook for 8 minutes.

Step 4

Place the cooked fish on a plate. Add boiled potatoes. Pour the fragrant oil over everything — and voila! The meal is ready to serve!
