Boiled fish with sauce
Description
1. First, wash the fillet and dry it. Lightly season with salt on all sides. In this case, red fish is used, but white fish will be just as good. 2. Pour wine and approximately the same amount of water into a saucepan or pot and place over heat. 3. Once boiling, carefully place the fish into the liquid, reduce the heat, and simmer for about 5–7 minutes, turning once during cooking. If the fillet is thick, you can cover it with a lid. 4. Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a frying pan. 5. Peel the onion and finely dice it. You can also use garlic in this recipe for boiled fish with sauce. 6. Add the onion to the frying pan and sauté. 7. Pour the second half of the wine into the pan and let it simmer for a couple of minutes. 8. In the meantime, squeeze the lemon juice and add it to the sauce. 9. Prepare the capers by mixing them with sour cream. 10. Add them to the frying pan, mix well, and immediately remove from heat. 11. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste, and add finely chopped herbs, for example. 12. Just about 20 minutes after starting the process, boiled fish with sauce is ready to be served at home.
