Open pie with frozen berries

60 min4 serv.21 февр. 2026 г.

Description

Delicious baked treat for the whole family. To make a pie that can handle juicy fillings, I suggest using a shortcrust dough made with thick kefir and vegetable oil. To prevent the berries from releasing too much juice during baking, mix them with starch—this will turn all the juice into a jelly-like consistency. You can serve the finished pie as is, or drizzle it with fruit sauce or dust it with powdered sugar. It's very sweet and delicious—give it a try! Serve it warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
