Pork chops in foil in the oven
Description
The recipe for preparing cutlets wrapped in foil and baked in the oven is very simple, although, to be honest, it takes quite a bit of time. So keep this in mind if you're planning to serve these cutlets as the main dish at a festive table. And that's exactly how I recommend serving them—tender, juicy meat will please any meat lover, even the most picky gourmets. 1. If necessary, thaw the beef, rinse it, then dry it with paper towels or simply let it air-dry on the counter for a while. 2. Cut the meat into pieces about one and a half centimeters thick, then pound each piece with a meat mallet. 3. Season with salt, pepper, and spices, then place in a bowl. Pour soy sauce over the top and let marinate for at least half an hour. This is a perfect time to prepare a side dish. 4. You can mince the garlic in a blender and add it to the marinade, or spread the garlic paste directly onto each cutlet before baking—this is up to your preference. 5. Now wrap each cutlet in two layers of foil, place them on a baking tray, and put into a preheated oven for one hour. After about 30 minutes, carefully flip each cutlet to the other side. Done! If you don't like well-done meat, check the doneness with a toothpick periodically. Once the meat reaches your desired level of doneness, feel free to remove it from the oven. Serve these foil-wrapped oven-baked cutlets at home with fresh or canned vegetables, or alongside any side dish, sprinkled with fresh herbs.
