Pork chops wrapped in bacon
Description
Pork chops wrapped in bacon look very appetizing. The sauce, the recipe of which I will also share with you below, perfectly complements and enhances the flavor of the chops. The chops are fried together with sage leaves, making the bacon-wrapped pork chops incredibly aromatic. Try it out and impress your loved ones and guests!
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Remove excess skin from the cutlets, if any remains.
- 3
Step 3

The cutlets need to be made even thinner; to do this, place them in parchment paper and roll over them with a rolling pin.
- 4
Step 4

You should end up with a flat pork cutlet like the one in the photo.
- 5
Step 5

Season each cutlet with salt to taste. Place sage leaves on each cutlet.
- 6
Step 6

Fold in half so that the sage leaves are inside. Place a few leaves on top.
- 7
Step 7

Now wrap the folded pork cutlets in prosciutto.
- 8
Step 8

Melt the butter in a skillet and place our bacon-wrapped cutlets into the skillet.
- 9
Step 9

Fry on both sides for 2 minutes each. Then flip them once again and fry for another minute on each side until the bacon becomes crispy.
- 10
Step 10

Remove the bacon-wrapped cutlets from the skillet and place them on a plate; set aside. Add a bit more butter to the skillet and melt it. Add the shallot and capers, sauté for one minute. Pour in the balsamic vinegar, then immediately remove the skillet from the heat as soon as the mixture begins to boil. If you leave it on too long, the balsamic vinegar will quickly evaporate.

Step 11

Season your sauce with salt and pepper to taste. Stir. Drizzle over the pork chops in bacon before serving.
